Barone made an appearance in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who was seeking Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was one of the cast members of Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone appeared as Carol Willick Geller's ex-wife during the first Friends appearance.
